Please note that many Cyrillic (and other non-Latinic) words including artists names don't have exact Latinic transcription, alternate variants are possible.

Say, the same Soviet label may be written like Melodia, Melodija or Melodiya. There is no "correct" spelling here, all of them aren't correct being transcripted from Cyrillic. So your choice is just a question of taste. I prefere "MELODIA" spelling so I use it in items descriptions.

The same problem may occur to artists names. For example, the same jazz singer name may be written on some albums like "Tatevik Oganesyan" while on other album it is given as "Datevik Hovanesian". Check all possible variants if you want to find more.
