Ken Donnelly

Kenneth (Ken) Donnelly is fraud who contacts collectors (mostly vinyl record collectors) through Interenet and offer them records for sale or trade. Then Ken Donnelly (Kenneth Donnely or Donelly) requests to send him payment or trade items in advance. After that buyer/trader will never see his/her money or items sent to that australian fraud. Kenneth Donnelly (used to steal money from buyers also under nicks "purplecow", "brown cat", "austinhosp06" (new) AND OTHERS) often hides his name, emailing anonymous messages. If you received offer to purchase or trade rare item from anonymous person in Australia - beware of fraud, it's Ken Donnelly. If you're offered to send trade items to unclear address like some "PO Box XXXX" in Australia - beware of Kenneth Donnelly fraud. If you have trade/sale offer from some person in Australia who requests you to send payment or records to "his partner" named Ken Donnelly - never do it.

Ken Donnelly .. He's getting harder to spot on E-bay these days, it seems he's getting into partnerships to disguise his details. He's now known as "austinhosp06" of Noble Park North, he lives in Preston, about 30 Kms away.

Request received from detective who investigated Ken Donnelly activity:
 
"I am a Detective working for the Victoria Police, in Melbourne, Australia. I have recently investigated several fraudulent transactions relating to the sale of music records across the internet. .... Should you have records of any fraudulent transactions with this person please contact me with details and I will endeavour to seek restitution from the offender when he attends the Heidelberg Magistrates' Court on 22/6/2007"

Message received from record collector to whom Ken Donnelly offered rare records for sale using name "Larry Kennedy". BE WARNED - there is new trick though fraud scheme remains the same: he require to send payment/trade items urgently in advance otherwise record will be sold to someone else, in this case he requested to send money transfer payable to "his partner" Kenneth Donnelly.
